Easy Heart Motif

Valentine's Day is coming up. Though the basic symbolism of the stylized heart is under debate, the simple fact is that it is the most easily recognized icon of the romantic holiday. With that in mind, here's an easy motif to decorate your work.

The pictured motif was done with baby weight yarn and a size G hook. A motif made from regular weight with an H or I hook is large enough to use as a coaster, if that's what you need.
